Frank Onyeka has completed a permanent transfer to Coventry City, with the deal taking effect from 1 July after the Nigerian midfielder's loan spell at the club was made official during the summer transfer window.
Onyeka initially arrived at Coventry City on a temporary basis in January, joining from Brentford. His performances across 14 Championship outings — during which he scored once — were enough to convince the club to exercise the option to make the move permanent.
Premier League experience in the Championship
The Nigeria international brings considerable top-flight pedigree to the Sky Blues, having featured in 75 Premier League matches during his time at Brentford. That experience proved a key factor as Coventry City navigated the Championship campaign.
Now the club have earned promotion back to the Premier League, Onyeka is relishing the prospect of competing at the highest level of English football once more.
