Anthony Gordon has declared that Barcelona have yet to see the best version of him — and he is determined to fix that when the club host Aston Villa in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.

The winger, who joined Barcelona on loan, acknowledged his performances so far have fallen short of his own standards. Speaking ahead of the midweek fixture, Gordon promised to be more ruthless in front of goal and take greater responsibility with the ball in dangerous areas.

"I can do a lot more," Gordon said, setting a clear personal benchmark ahead of what promises to be a high-stakes European night at the club.

The statement carries weight for a player determined to justify his place in one of European football's most demanding environments. Gordon's willingness to publicly hold himself accountable signals both confidence and hunger ahead of the contest against Aston Villa.
