Boston will host a landmark moment in Haitian football history on 13 June, when the Grenadiers face Scotland at the FIFA World Cup — their first appearance at the tournament in 52 years. Few people feel the weight of that occasion more than Zachary Herivaux, a former Haiti international who grew up in the city.
Born in Japan to a Haitian father and a Japanese mother, Herivaux relocated to Chestnut Hill, on the outskirts of Boston, at an early age.
