Hull City Lead Race to Sign Millwall Winger Femi Azeez

Hull City have moved to the front of the queue to sign Nigerian winger Femi Azeez, with Millwall holding firm on a £15 million asking price for their star wide man.
Azeez caught the eye of several Premier League clubs during an impressive 2025/26 Championship campaign, recording 11 goals and eight assists across 37 appearances for the Lions. His performances earned him a place in the Sky Bet Championship Team of the Season.
Ipswich Town had been among the clubs credited with an interest in the 25-year-old, but they moved on after securing Abdul Fatawu on a deal from Leicester City. Bournemouth and Brighton & Hove Albion were also reported to have monitored Azeez's situation.
Despite the attention from top-flight clubs, Millwall are reluctant to let Azeez leave The Den cheaply. The former Reading winger still has two years remaining on his contract, giving the Championship side considerable leverage in any negotiations.
Hull City are now understood to be leading the pursuit as they look to strengthen their attacking options before the new campaign gets underway.
