Iheanacho Fires Bursaspor to Comeback Win Against Kayserispor

1 hour ago·1 min

Kelechi Iheanacho produced a standout display as Bursaspor overturned a first-half deficit to beat Kayserispor 2-1 in a Trendyol 1. Lig fixture on Saturday.

Kayserispor broke the deadlock shortly after the 30-minute mark when Florent Hasani converted from the penalty spot, and the home side carried that lead into half-time.

Bursaspor emerged from the break with renewed purpose, and Iheanacho dragged them level in the 58th minute — calmly slotting home a penalty of his own to restore parity at 1-1.

The Nigeria international was not done there. In the 77th minute, he turned creator, teeing up Alperen Babacan for what proved to be the match-winning goal.

Iheanacho made way for Lewis Baker three minutes from the final whistle as Bursaspor held firm to see out an important away victory.

The 29-year-old has been in fine form since joining the club, registering four goals and two assists across four league outings this season.
