Kelechi Iheanacho extended his stunning run of form on Sunday, scoring for Bursaspor in a 2-2 home draw against Esenler Erokspor to bring his league tally to nine goals in seven appearances.

The Nigeria international broke the deadlock in the 16th minute, handing Bursaspor an early lead and once again underlining his central role in the Turkish club's attack. Esenler Erokspor eventually fought back to claim a share of the points, but Iheanacho's contribution had already left its mark.

In addition to his nine goals, Iheanacho has registered two assists this season, cementing his status as one of the standout performers in the Turkish second tier. His consistency in front of goal has been a defining feature of Bursaspor's campaign since the opening weekend.

Despite failing to hold on for the win, Bursaspor climbed to the summit of the league table with 16 points — level with second-placed Batman Petrolspor, but ahead on goal difference.
