Athletic Club striker Inaki Williams has stepped away from international football, confirming his retirement from the Ghana national team after three years of service with the Black Stars.
The 32-year-old made 28 appearances for Ghana, scoring two goals, following his debut in September 2022. He represented the West African nation at two FIFA World Cups — in 2022 and 2026 — as well as the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
Williams played twice at this year's World Cup, but his Ghana career ended in the last 32 as the Black Stars were eliminated by Colombia.
