Inter Milan are closing in on a deal to sign Tottenham Hotspur full-back Djed Spence, with advanced negotiations underway for a transfer worth a minimum of £25.6 million (30 million euros).

The Serie A champions have identified the 26-year-old England international as a priority target this summer, with his stock rising sharply after he made eight appearances at the World Cup.

Spence established himself as a key figure in Tottenham's squad last season, starting 23 Premier League matches as the north London club narrowly escaped relegation. He has made 85 appearances in total for Spurs since arriving from Middlesbrough for £20 million in July 2022.

With the transfer edging closer, Tottenham have already begun searching for candidates to fill the gap left by the right-back's departure.
