ITV's Broadcast Team Revealed for Qatar vs Switzerland at World Cup 2026

5 days ago·1 min

ITV has confirmed its full presenting, punditry, and commentary team for the World Cup 2026 Group B clash between Qatar and Switzerland, taking place in San Francisco.

Mark Pougatch hosts the coverage from ITV's Stateside studio, bringing his customary composure to what promises to be a fascinating fixture. Qatar — managed by Julen Lopetegui and still chasing their first-ever point at a FIFA World Cup — face a Switzerland side that has made reaching the last 16 a near-annual habit.

Studio pundits

Pougatch is flanked in the studio by Ian Wright and Gary Neville, both of whom have become fixtures in ITV's World Cup setup.

Neville, the former Manchester United captain, is best recognised as one of Sky Sports' most prominent voices in punditry and co-commentary. Away from football, he has also appeared as an investor on the BBC's Dragons' Den.

Wright — an Arsenal legend known simply as Wrighty — has featured on both Sky Sports and the BBC. He and Neville are also regular co-hosts on the hugely popular The Overlap podcast.

Completing the studio panel is Duncan Ferguson, the former striker widely regarded as one of the most formidable physical presences in British football during his playing days. Ferguson has since moved into management.

Commentary team

Sam Matterface takes the commentary seat for the match, partnered by former Arsenal full-back Lee Dixon. Kick-off is scheduled for 8pm UK time.
