Matthias Jaissle has confirmed that Newcastle United and their management are united in recognising the need for further squad reinforcements before the summer transfer window closes, while also urging patience as a new era takes shape at St James' Park.
The 38-year-old German, who took charge in early August following Eddie Howe's departure, is navigating one of the more demanding rebuilds in the Premier League. Newcastle have lost Bruno Guimaraes, Sandro Tonali, and Anthony Gordon — three of their most influential figures — over the summer.
Adjustments needed, but alignment is there
Speaking to Sky Sports News, Jaissle was candid about the club's needs without committing to a specific number of additions.
