Vincent Kompany is on the mend following his hospitalization last week, though Bayern Munich have given no indication of when their head coach might return to the dugout.

Bayern Munich assistant coach Aaron Danks offered a cautiously optimistic update, describing Kompany as being in good spirits and making progress "day by day." Danks stepped in to lead the team during Kompany's absence.

No timeline has been provided for Kompany's return to full duties at the club.
