Austrian champions LASK delivered a commanding performance in the UEFA Champions League, defeating bottom-of-the-table Slovan Bratislava 4-0 to record consecutive wins in the competition.

The result leaves Slovan Bratislava in a difficult position — the Slovak side have now gone four games without a single point, making them the only team yet to open their account in this year's group stage.

LASK, by contrast, are growing into the tournament with confidence, backing up their previous Champions League victory with another emphatic display. The Austrian side were dominant throughout, giving Slovan little room to breathe from first whistle to last.

The 4-0 scoreline underlines the gap between the two sides at this stage of the competition, and raises serious questions about Slovan Bratislava's ability to mount a challenge as the group stage progresses.
