Rafael Leão has underlined his dedication to AC Milan, insisting he will give everything for the club for as long as he remains under contract — even as he acknowledged harbouring ambitions to explore other leagues in the future.

The Portuguese forward made his comments on a Brazilian podcast while on a break in Brazil, where AC Milan had granted him extra rest days following the World Cup.

Honest words from the Rossoneri star

Leão confirmed he had already held conversations with AC Milan regarding a possible move elsewhere, describing it as exploring a "new experience." However, he stressed that no decision has been made and that his immediate focus is returning to training on the 29th.

"I had already spoken with Milan about the possibility of trying a new experience. I don't know if it will happen. I have to show up there on the 29th and as long as I'm there, I'll give my all, always respecting the shirt that has given me everything," Leão said.

He went on to credit AC Milan for their role in his development, while being candid about the personal drive that pushes him to consider what lies ahead.

"I think it's a club that has helped me a lot in every way, but in life you also have ambitions for other things. And if it happens, I'll consider my options — but I'm still a Milan player," he added.

Training at Corinthians facilities

During his time in Brazil, Leão has been keeping fit by using the training facilities at Corinthians. He expressed gratitude to the Brazilian club for opening their doors to him, and offered a playful hint that the future is never truly written.

"Corinthians, thank you so much — we're together. You never know what the future holds. I'm already grateful for opening the doors for me to train," he said.

For now, Leão remains a key figure at AC Milan, with the club and their supporters expecting his full focus when pre-season preparations resume.
