Leeds United Sign Tarik Muharemovic in £34.1 Million Deal

Leeds United have completed the signing of Bosnian defender Tarik Muharemovic from Italian Serie A club Sassuolo, in a deal worth £34.1 million.
The 23-year-old Bosnia-Herzegovina international has put pen to paper on a five-year contract at Elland Road, becoming the club's second summer acquisition following Harry Wilson's free transfer from Fulham.
Muharemovic arrives as a direct replacement for Pascal Struijk, who departed Elland Road for Brighton in June in a £20 million deal.
World Cup experience
The centre-back featured for Bosnia-Herzegovina at this summer's World Cup, where he gained widespread attention after being involved in the incident that led to USA forward Folarin Balogun's much-discussed red card dismissal.
Muharemovic himself was not without controversy at the tournament — he too received a red card, in his country's group-stage clash against Switzerland.
