Liverpool's Backup Targets if Yan Diomande Move Falls Through

Liverpool have drawn up a list of alternative transfer targets should their pursuit of RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande fail to reach a conclusion this summer.

Diomande has emerged as one of Liverpool's primary objectives in the current window, but RB Leipzig have shown no willingness to part with the Ivorian below their asking price. Liverpool already had one offer — reported to be in the region of £86 million — rejected by the German club, and talks between the two sides have now dragged on for several weeks without a breakthrough.
