Liverpool Sign Bradley Barcola From PSG in £123m Deal

Liverpool have secured the services of Bradley Barcola, completing a deal with Paris Saint-Germain worth a guaranteed £106m — rising to a potential £123m with performance-related add-ons.

The France winger has signed a five-year contract at Anfield, becoming manager Andoni Iraola's third high-profile recruit of the summer window, following defenders Victor Munoz and Ronald Araujo. Midfielder Jeremy Jacquet had also arrived at the club, having been signed during the winter transfer window.

Second most expensive signing in club history

Barcola's arrival places him among the most expensive players ever signed by Liverpool. Only the £125m acquisition of Alexander Isak from Newcastle last summer ranks higher in the club's record books.

The deal was not straightforward. Paris Saint-Germain had initially demanded approximately £145m for the 23-year-old, and the two clubs spent much of the summer at an impasse over valuation before eventually finding agreement.

A winger to excite Anfield

Barcola made his name as one of the most electrifying wide players in Europe during his time at Paris Saint-Germain, where he was a central figure in the club's attacking play. His pace, directness, and ability to cut inside from the left flank made him one of the most sought-after players on the continent.

Liverpool's summer business now extends to four notable arrivals, with Iraola moving quickly to reshape his squad ahead of the new Premier League campaign. The addition of Barcola signals the club's ambition to compete at the highest level both domestically and in Europe.
