Manchester United produced one of the most dramatic reversals of fortune in their Champions League history, overturning a two-goal deficit to defeat Roma 3-2 at Old Trafford in a breathtaking second-half comeback.

The Red Devils found themselves in serious trouble at the break, trailing by two goals and facing the prospect of an early European exit. What followed in the second half, however, was a performance of extraordinary resolve — United clawed their way back with three goals to seal a sensational victory.

The turnaround at Old Trafford left Roma stunned, as United's players fed off the energy of their home crowd to overturn what had seemed an insurmountable deficit. The result stands as a testament to the fighting spirit that has long been associated with the club.

United's triumph adds another memorable chapter to the storied rivalry between English and Italian clubs in European competition, and keeps their Champions League campaign firmly on track.
