The French forward insisted that criticism aimed at him — and directed at teammate Vinícius Júnior — does not reflect what actually happens on the training pitch or in matches. Mbappé argued that his commitment to the team's collective effort is not in question, dismissing the narrative that either player is a burden to Real Madrid's defensive shape.
