Super Eagles winger Moses Simon played his part as Paris FC claimed a hard-earned 1-0 victory away to AJ Auxerre in Ligue 1 on Saturday evening.

Featuring for the eighth time this season, Simon worked tirelessly on the flank and contributed to his side's attacking play before being replaced by Luca Koleosho in the 66th minute. The Nigerian has one assist to his name so far this campaign.

Paris FC controlled the game from start to finish, commanding 66 percent of possession and rarely allowing Auxerre to settle into any rhythm.

The deadlock remained unbroken at half-time, but striker Lassine Sinayoko settled the contest early in the second half, converting a sharp assist from Pablo Pagis to put the visitors in front.

Paris FC's defensive resolve proved equally impressive — they conceded just two shots on target throughout the entire match, holding firm to secure all three points on the road.
