Motsepe Visits Tanzania's President Hassan to Offer Condolences and Deliver AFCON 2027 Update

CAF President Dr Patrice Motsepe travelled to Dar es Salaam on Thursday to pay a courtesy visit to Tanzania's Head of State, Her Excellency Samia Suluhu Hassan.
The central purpose of the visit was to personally deliver condolences from Motsepe and all 54 CAF Member Associations following the death of President Hassan's husband.
Motsepe also briefed President Hassan on the current state of preparations for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations PAMOJA 2027, with Tanzania among the host nations for the tournament. President Hassan responded by reaffirming her government's commitment to ensuring the competition is a success.
Earlier meeting with prime minister
Before the presidential visit, Motsepe held talks with Tanzania Prime Minister Honourable Mwigulu Nchemba earlier the same day.
He was accompanied by CAF Vice Presidents Kurt Okraku and Faizel Sidat, Acting General Secretary Samson Adamu, Tanzania Football Federation President Wallace Karia, and Local Organising Committee Chairman Leodgar Tenga, alongside senior members of the Tanzanian government.
