Bundesliga side Schalke 04 have completed the signing of Nigerian-born forward Junior Adamu, who arrives from second-division club SC Freiburg on a deal running until 30 June, 2029.

The 25-year-old made his mark last season during a loan spell at Scottish Premiership club Celtic, where he contributed to the club's domestic double triumph before returning to Germany.
