Beşiktaş sporting director Önder Özent has moved to quash speculation surrounding Super Eagles captain Wilfred Ndidi, stating that the Turkish club have yet to receive any official written offer from a Saudi Arabian side.
Reports in Turkey, notably from Milliyet, had suggested that Al-Ittihad of the Saudi Pro League submitted a bid for the experienced Nigerian midfielder during the current transfer window.
Özent addressed those claims head-on at a news conference, acknowledging interest from the Gulf but insisting no formal proposal has landed at the club.
