Nigerian rapper Odumodublack has made one thing abundantly clear: his devotion to Arsenal runs deeper than any personal ambition. Speaking on Capital XTRA, the Afrobeats star declared he would willingly trade a Grammy Award for the sight of Arsenal lifting the Premier League trophy.

"If you gave me the opportunity to win a Grammy Award, or let Arsenal win that Premier League, I would have chosen that Premier League," he said.

He pressed the point further, referencing a contentious moment in Arsenal's recent campaign. "If I had the chance to win a Grammy Award… and they say let that West Ham goal count, or whatever, let them cancel that West Ham goal for Arsenal to win the league — which one would you pick? I would pick that league, ahead of the Grammy Award."

A love rooted in family

Odumodublack's connection to Arsenal is deeply personal. His passion for the club is heavily tied to his late father, a die-hard Arsenal supporter who passed that devotion on to his son.

That bond found its way into his music. He named his breakout track "Declan Rice" after the Arsenal and England midfielder, a tribute that caught the club's attention and ultimately led to Arsenal using his music during player announcements.

Celebrating the Gunners in song

The rapper has never shied away from wearing his club allegiance on his sleeve. He dropped "Motion Sickness" alongside Zlatan as a celebration of Arsenal's success, and he has consistently placed the club's fortunes above his own career milestones whenever given the choice.

For Odumodublack, no individual award — not even music's most coveted prize — comes close to what it would mean to see Arsenal crowned Premier League champions.
