Omari Hutchinson Joins AC Milan on Loan From Nottingham Forest

1 hour ago·1 min

AC Milan have brought in Omari Hutchinson on a loan deal from Nottingham Forest, with the arrangement running until the end of the current season. The seven-time European champions hold an option to sign the forward permanently when the campaign concludes.

Hutchinson's departure from Forest arrives exactly a year after he completed a £37.5m move from Ipswich Town. During his time at the City Ground, the forward managed only 17 Premier League starts — a spell that saw him play under four different managers.

A winding road to Milan

Hutchinson began his career at Chelsea before moving to Arsenal, where he signed his first professional contract in 2020. He returned to Stamford Bridge in 2022 and made two appearances for the Blues before heading to Ipswich Town in 2023.

His first stint at Ipswich was a loan arrangement, but after helping the Tractor Boys earn promotion to the Premier League, that move was made permanent 12 months later.

Now 22, Hutchinson was a key member of the England Under-21 squad that claimed the European Championship title in 2025. He will wear the number 20 shirt at the San Siro as he looks to reignite his career under Milan's management.
