Osimhen Rises to Third on Galatasaray's All-Time Foreign Scorers List

Victor Osimhen has cemented his place in Galatasaray's history books, climbing to third on the club's all-time list of highest-scoring foreign players after a brace in their 4-0 demolition of Erzurum FK on Friday night.
The double took the Nigeria international's overall tally for the Turkish champions to 62 goals, edging him past former Czech Republic striker Milan Baros, who netted 61 times during his stint at the club. Across 76 appearances for the Yellow and Reds, Osimhen has also contributed 16 assists.
Chasing Hagi and Icardi
The 27-year-old now sets his sights on two legendary names above him on the list. Galatasaray icon Gheorghe Hagi sits second with 72 goals, while Argentine striker Mauro Icardi leads the all-time foreign scoring chart with 77.
Osimhen, who came through Lille before joining Galatasaray, also etched his name into the club's statistical record with another milestone from the Erzurum FK fixture. He became the first Galatasaray player since Brazilian forward Mario Jardel in the 2000/01 season to score at least four goals across a Süper Lig campaign's opening two matches.
Blistering start to the season
Manager Okan Buruk's forward has hit the ground running in the new campaign, registering four goals and one assist in Galatasaray's first two league outings. The Super Eagles striker's form suggests his ascent up the all-time foreign scorers list is far from over.
