Ranchers Bees have confirmed a mid-season venue switch, announcing that the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano will serve as their home ground for the remainder of the 2026/27 Euromatch Nigeria Premier Football League campaign.

The Kaduna-based club had initially set up base at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium in Katsina, but cited "uncontrollable circumstances" as the reason behind the decision to relocate to Kano.

Brief stay in Katsina

Ranchers Bees managed just one home fixture at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium — a commanding 4-0 win over Abia Warriors on matchday two — before the move was confirmed.

The club took time to thank Katsina United and the people of Katsina for the welcome they received during their short spell in the city.

"To Katsina, thank you for the hospitality and the memories. We hope to see you again soon. The journey continues."

Kano embrace

Ranchers Bees were effusive in their greeting to supporters in their new home city, writing on X: "KANAWA, WE'RE STAYING! Our next home game will be played in Kano. To the people of Kano, thank you for the incredible welcome and support."

The club will host Bendel Insurance at the Sani Abacha Stadium in their matchday-four fixture, scheduled for Sunday — their first outing in front of a Kano crowd under the new arrangement.
