Rangers are reportedly pursuing PSV Eindhoven winger Couhaib Driouech, with Dutch reports indicating that an initial bid from the Scottish club has already been rejected by the Eredivisie side.

Driouech, a 24-year-old Moroccan international, has attracted interest from more than one club. Red Bull Salzburg — who recently brought in former Rangers head coach Danny Rohl — are also said to be monitoring the winger alongside the Ibrox outfit.

Whether Rangers will return with an improved offer remains to be seen, but the competition from Salzburg adds further pressure to their pursuit of the PSV man.

Johnston tells Celtic he wants Everton switch

Elsewhere in transfer gossip, Canada right-back Alistair Johnston has reportedly informed Celtic of his desire to move to Everton. The 27-year-old is said to have made his intentions clear to the Scottish champions as the summer window continues to develop.
