Rangers are in negotiations with Brentford over a potential loan return for left-back Jayden Meghoma, 20, as the Scottish club continues to strengthen its defensive options this summer.

Rangers have not given up on securing Sheffield United striker Ryan One, 20, on loan, with talks continuing despite an initial approach being turned down. The club has also received a boost on the injury front: left-back Tuur Rommens, who suffered a groin strain, is expected to miss weeks rather than the months originally feared.
