The deal represents a significant turn of events for Paris Saint-Germain, who had previously secured Diomandé's agreement on personal terms. Les Parisiens have now walked away from negotiations, unwilling to meet RB Leipzig's financial demands.

PSG exit opens door for Real Madrid

For weeks, PSG were considered frontrunners to secure the Ivorian midfielder's signature. However, their attempts to negotiate a lower transfer fee ultimately proved unsuccessful, and the player's camp shifted course.

RMC Sport reports that PSG executives have been left frustrated by the conduct of Diomandé's agents, who reversed their position despite an earlier agreement having been struck with the French club.
