Scotland's Angus Gunn Joins San Jose Earthquakes After Nottingham Forest Exit

Scotland international goalkeeper Angus Gunn has completed a move to MLS side San Jose Earthquakes, signing a deal that runs through the 2030 season. The 30-year-old was released by Nottingham Forest before making the switch to the United States.

Gunn, who has earned 25 caps for Scotland, arrives with the Earthquakes in a strong position — second in the Western Conference after 15 games, level on goal difference with leaders Vancouver Whitecaps but having played one match more. San Jose also sit third in the overall MLS standings.

Gunn eager to chase silverware

The goalkeeper made no secret of his ambitions after putting pen to paper, expressing excitement about a potential title run.
