Sevilla Set €15m Price Tag on Nigerian Striker Akor Adams

Sevilla are demanding €15 million for Nigerian striker Akor Adams, with newly promoted Serie A side Venezia pushing hard to secure his signature before the summer window closes.
Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo reports that Venezia have already struck a personal terms agreement with Adams and are now locked in fee negotiations with the Andalusian club.
Sevilla open to selling Adams
Sevilla are willing to part ways with the 26-year-old, but insist their €15 million asking price must be met before any deal is approved. The Spanish club have granted Adams permission to hold talks with Venezia while inter-club discussions continue.
Venezia opened negotiations with an offer of around €10 million, which Sevilla promptly rejected. The gap between the two clubs is, however, considered manageable, and further talks are expected in the days ahead.
An impressive 2024/25 campaign
Adams delivered one of Sevilla's standout individual performances last season, registering 10 goals and three assists across 32 LaLiga appearances — a remarkable return given the club's troubled campaign overall.
The Super Eagles striker arrived at Sevilla from Montpellier in January 2025 for a reported €5 million and remains under contract until 2029.
Should a move to Venezia materialise, Adams would become one of the few Nigerian forwards to have played in three of Europe's top five leagues, having previously featured in France and Spain.
