Tottenham Sign Martin Dubravka on Free Transfer from Burnley

Tottenham Hotspur have secured the signature of goalkeeper Martin Dubravka on a free transfer, with the deal set to be completed when his Burnley contract expires on 1 July.
The 37-year-old Slovakian spent last season at Burnley, making 35 Premier League appearances for the Clarets. He has also had stints at Newcastle United and Manchester United during his career in England.
Dubravka becomes Roberto de Zerbi's fourth addition of the summer window. Defenders Marcos Senesi and Andy Robertson had already arrived on free transfers, while Jan Paul van Hecke joined from Brighton for £52 million.
Experience to shore up a troubled goal
Tottenham have endured consecutive 17th-place finishes in the Premier League, and the club are moving decisively to address their goalkeeping situation. Dubravka brings considerable pedigree — 197 Premier League appearances and 51 clean sheets to his name.
Last season, both Guglielmo Vicario and Antonin Kinsky served as Spurs' number one at various stages. Kinsky, 23, finished the campaign as first choice and produced a crucial save against Leeds United that helped keep the club in the top flight. However, his season also included a difficult night in March, when he conceded three goals before being substituted in the 17th minute of a UEFA Champions League last-16 tie at Atletico Madrid.
Vicario, meanwhile, has been linked with a return to Italy. With uncertainty surrounding both options, Dubravka is expected to push for the starting berth.
