Tottenham Target Man City Duo Savinho and Marmoush in Triple Forward Push

Tottenham are in active discussions with Manchester City over a potential double transfer involving winger Savinho and forward Omar Marmoush, as Roberto De Zerbi's side intensify their push to add three new forwards before the window closes.
Sky Sports News revealed on Wednesday that Spurs' ideal summer business includes signing Savinho, Liverpool winger Cody Gakpo, and an out-and-out centre-forward. Talks between Tottenham and Manchester City are progressing, though no formal agreement has been reached. Savinho is understood to be willing to make the move to north London.
The Liverpool factor
Tottenham are also monitoring the situation at Liverpool, where Spurs are waiting to see whether the club signs Bradley Barcola and potentially Paris Saint-Germain teammate Ibrahim Mbaye before submitting a bid for Gakpo. Should Liverpool make those moves, Spurs would feel comfortable tabling an offer for Gakpo.
If the Gakpo deal proves unworkable, Tottenham are ready to pursue Chelsea winger Pedro Neto as an alternative. Although Gakpo has been discussed internally as a potential No 9 option under De Zerbi, Spurs are clear that he is not their primary target for the central striking role — they want a proven goalscorer capable of leading the line and linking the attack.
A summer of heavy investment
Tottenham have already spent more than £200 million on six first-team signings this summer. The bulk of that expenditure went on two midfielders: Sandro Tonali arrived from Newcastle United and Matheus Fernandes from West Ham United, with the pair costing a combined £185 million.
Defender Jan Paul van Hecke joined from Brighton for £52 million, brought in to fill the void left by Cristian Romero. Marcos Senesi, Andy Robertson, and Martin Dubravka all arrived on free transfers to bolster the squad.
If Spurs complete their three remaining forward targets, De Zerbi's side could make as many as nine first-team signings in a single transfer window — an extraordinary level of squad overhaul even by modern standards.
