Trabzonspor Set €30 Million Price Tag on Paul Onuachu

1 hour ago·1 min

Trabzonspor have placed a €30 million valuation on Nigeria international Paul Onuachu as clubs circle the striker ahead of a potential summer departure from Papara Park.

The Turkish side have already turned down two separate approaches from Fenerbahçe, underlining their determination to hold out for a fee that meets their expectations. Fellow Istanbul club Beşiktaş are monitoring developments but have not yet submitted a formal offer.

From outside Turkey, Saudi Pro League side Al Ahli have maintained a long-running interest in the 32-year-old. Trabzonspor previously rejected an Al Ahli bid reported at €20 million last month, and the club have rebuffed all approaches valued between €20 million and €25 million this window.

Club willing to sell — at the right price

Despite their firm stance on the valuation, Trabzonspor are open to a sale if a proposal meets their asking price. The club are otherwise prepared to retain Onuachu, who still has two years remaining on his current contract.

Onuachu joined Trabzonspor last summer from a Sky Bet Championship club and wasted little time making an impact in the Turkish Super Lig. He shared the Golden Boot last season with İstanbul Başakşehir forward Eldor Shomurodov — a remarkable debut campaign that has only added to his market value.

The striker's form will be watched closely by Nigeria supporters, with the Super Eagles always keeping an eye on their top forwards ahead of upcoming international commitments.
