US Soccer will distribute the $16 million in FIFA prize money earned by the United States men's national team equally between its men's and women's programs, the federation confirmed.

The windfall came after the men's side reached the round of 16 at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where they were beaten 4-1 by Belgium before their run came to an end.
