Kyle Walker has delivered a stern message to his Burnley team-mates: there is no room for self-pity after relegation from the Premier League, and the only acceptable response is an immediate return to the top flight.
The Clarets, who finished 19th last season — 19 points adrift of 17th-placed Tottenham — open their Championship campaign on Sunday at Turf Moor against West Ham, who also dropped down from the Premier League in 2025-26.
