Chidera Michael, the breakout striker for Enyimba, has opened up about his debut campaign in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), describing it as a successful one — both for himself and the club — while crediting God, his coaches, and his teammates for his achievements.

The 20-year-old arrived at Enyimba from Ozalla Football Academy in Onitsha ahead of the 2025/2026 season. In his first year with the nine-time NPFL champions, Michael finished as the club's top scorer, netting 12 goals across all competitions — 11 in the league and one in the Federation Cup.
