Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso has firmly dismissed any suggestion that the club could send Estêvão out on loan, despite the young Brazil forward having played limited minutes this season.

Speaking on the matter, Alonso confirmed there had been "no discussions" about a temporary departure for Estêvão, signalling that the club intends to keep the highly rated prospect within the squad.

The comments come amid growing attention surrounding Estêvão's development, with the forward yet to establish a consistent run in Chelsea's first team since his arrival.
