AS Roma Eye Nigerian Midfielder David Moses Ahead of January Window

AS Roma are keeping a close eye on Nigerian midfielder David Moses, with the Italian club reportedly preparing to make a move when the January transfer window opens, according to transfer expert Ekrem Konur.
Moses, 22, currently plays for Czech top-flight side Slavia Prague, where he has registered one assist across nine league outings this season. Roma are said to view him as one of their priority midfield targets as they look to bolster their options in the engine room.
The Serie A side may not have the field to themselves, however. French Ligue 1 club AS Monaco are also monitoring Moses, setting up a potential battle for his signature once the window swings open in January.
From MFK Karviná to Slavia Prague
Moses made the move to Slavia Prague from fellow Czech club MFK Karviná in January 2025, quickly earning a place in the Red and Whites' squad. He is contracted with the Czech champions through June 2029, giving the club a strong negotiating position in any potential transfer discussions.
His current market value stands at around €10 million — a fee that both Roma and Monaco would need to match if they are to secure his services ahead of the second half of the season.
