Taiwo Awoniyi has pledged to hit the ground running at Coventry City, vowing to bring goals and determination as the newly promoted club readies itself for a Premier League opener against Arsenal on Friday.
The Super Eagles striker completed his transfer to Coventry City in August 2026 after four seasons at Nottingham Forest, where he scored 23 goals in 103 appearances and played a significant part in keeping the club in the top flight while also helping them reach the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup.
