Bayern Munich Refuse to Sell Olise at Any Price, Hainer Warns Real Madrid

1 hour ago·2 min

Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer has drawn a firm line in the sand over Michael Olise, making clear to Real Madrid that no offer — not even one surpassing €150 million — will prise the winger away from the Allianz Arena.

Speaking directly to Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez, Hainer was unambiguous: any approach would be futile before it even began.

"As I've said before, if Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has an offer in mind, he can save himself the trouble because we don't want to sell Michael Olise. We have a very good relationship with Real Madrid and they contacted me to say they've had absolutely no contact with Michael and they do not want these constant speculations in the media. He's a Bayern Munich player and has a long-term contract. And we're not a selling club."

A cornerstone, not a commodity

Hainer's message was consistent with Bayern Munich's long-standing transfer philosophy. The Bundesliga giants regard Olise as a fundamental part of their project, bound to the club by a long-term contract and not available for purchase under any circumstances.

The president's blunt rebuff signals that Bayern have no intention of entertaining discussions regardless of the figures Madrid might table.

Olise shining at the 2026 FIFA World Cup

The timing of Madrid's reported interest is no surprise. Olise has emerged as one of the most influential players at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, leading the tournament's assist charts with five contributions so far in North America.

Among his standout displays was a commanding performance in France's 3-0 victory over Sweden, in which he registered two majestic assists. His vision and attacking incision have been central to driving Les Bleus deep into the competition.

France have already advanced to the round of 16, where they face Paraguay, meaning Olise's summer with Didier Deschamps' side could stretch considerably further — and his stock will only continue to rise with each passing match.
