Brighton & Hove Albion have agreed a deal to bring Nigerian winger Femi Azeez to the Premier League, striking an agreement with Championship side Millwall worth £12.5 million, with a further €2.5 million potentially available in add-ons.

The fee could stand as a club-record sale for Millwall, eclipsing the £14 million they received from Crystal Palace for Romain Esse last summer — depending on how the add-ons are structured and triggered.

Azeez, 25, is set to sign a four-year contract at Brighton, with the option of a fifth year, once he clears his medical examination.
