The road to the CAF Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations Senegal 2026 is now clear after Tuesday's qualifier draw, held at CAF Headquarters in Cairo, Egypt. Sixteen nations will battle for seven available berths at the eight-team continental finals, scheduled to run from 7 to 15 November 2026.

Hosts Senegal, who are also the reigning champions, have already secured automatic qualification and will not take part in the qualifying rounds.

How the qualifying rounds work

The draw is structured across two rounds of home-and-away ties. Four nations enter at the first round: Mauritius face Angola, and Kenya take on Libya. The opening legs of those ties are scheduled for 18–20 September 2026, with the return legs following on 25–27 September. The team drawn first hosts the first leg.

The two first-round winners advance to the second round, where they join 12 exempted nations, forming a pool of 14 sides contesting seven places at the finals.

Second-round fixtures

The first-round winners are already guaranteed high-profile second-round opponents: the Mauritius–Angola winner meets Egypt, while the Kenya–Libya winner faces Morocco.

Elsewhere in the second round, a heavyweight west African showdown pits Nigeria against Ghana, and Côte d'Ivoire take on Mauritania. There is an all-Southern African tie as Seychelles meet Malawi, an east African derby as Tanzania face Mozambique, and a central-east African encounter between Burundi and Uganda.

The second-round first legs are set for 9–11 October 2026, with the decisive return legs on 16–18 October. The seven winners will book their places alongside Senegal at the finals.
