CAF Executive Committee to Scrutinise FIFA Forward Enterprise Proposal

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has received official correspondence from FIFA regarding the proposed FIFA Forward Enterprise initiative, as part of an ongoing consultation process involving FIFA Member Associations and the FIFA Council.
CAF President Dr Patrice Motsepe will convene a meeting of the CAF Executive Committee next week to assess and evaluate the proposal in detail. The gathering forms part of CAF's formal response to the consultation currently underway at the global level.
Member associations urged to engage
Beyond the Executive Committee meeting, CAF is calling on all of its Member Associations to study the FIFA Forward Enterprise proposal and take an active part in the consultation process. CAF has stressed that all participation must be conducted in line with the regulations and established procedures of both CAF and FIFA.
In a statement, CAF reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with its Member Associations, FIFA, other confederations, and relevant stakeholders. The confederation said its overarching goal remains the expansion of financial and other resources dedicated to growing football across Africa and the rest of the world.
