CAF President Dr Patrice Motsepe is set to take the stage at the CNN Global Perspectives 2026 summit in Doha, Qatar, on Thursday, 29 October 2026, joining an assembly of prominent leaders drawn from government, business, sport, and beyond.

Motsepe will participate in a high-level panel centred on the future of football, with particular focus on the ongoing transformation of African football, its rising commercial value, and Africa's expanding influence on the global sporting stage.

The CNN Global Perspectives forum in Doha is an annual gathering that convenes influential decision-makers and thought leaders to examine the trends shaping business, technology, culture, and international affairs.

Motsepe's appearance at such a platform underscores the growing ambition of CAF to position African football — and Africa itself — as a central force in world sport.
