LaLiga president Javier Tebas has held talks with China's Ambassador to Spain, Yao Jing, in an effort to resolve the diplomatic fallout stemming from comments attributed to Kylian Mbappé about a dictator.

The meeting was called to explore ways of finding solutions following the controversy that erupted after remarks allegedly made by Mbappé surfaced and caused a significant backlash in China.

Tebas and Yao Jing came together to address the tensions directly, reflecting the seriousness with which LaLiga is treating the international incident.
