Manchester United manager Michael Carrick has acknowledged that frank and difficult conversations have taken place between himself, the playing squad, and the club's leadership as the team continues to struggle through an eight-game winless run.

Carrick confirmed that no one has been shielded from uncomfortable realities during this difficult period, with honest dialogue flowing in all directions at Old Trafford.

The admission comes as pressure mounts on the club following a prolonged sequence without a victory — a run that has cast a shadow over the current campaign and intensified scrutiny on the manager and his players.
