Michael Carrick's position at Manchester United is under growing scrutiny after the club suffered a deflating 3-0 loss to Bournemouth on Sunday.

The result extended United's miserable run and heaped further pressure on Carrick, whose side were comprehensively outplayed at every turn by a Bournemouth outfit that were sharper, more clinical, and altogether more purposeful throughout.

It was a limp and largely toothless display from United, who offered little in the way of resistance as Bournemouth ran riot to claim all three points with ease.
