Paderborn reject Baur bid

Paderborn sporting director Sebastian Lange has confirmed that his club turned down a £4 million approach from Celtic for 22-year-old midfielder Mika Baur. The German club are holding firm on their valuation, leaving Celtic to weigh up whether to return with an improved offer.

Hogh arrives for medical

Bodo/Glimt striker Kasper Hogh has touched down in the UK ahead of a proposed £11 million transfer to Celtic. The 25-year-old Denmark international is set to undergo a medical on Monday, with the deal appearing close to completion.

Hassan pursuit complicated by rival interest

Celtic's pursuit of Real Oviedo winger Haissem Hassan has produced conflicting reports. The 24-year-old Egypt international has reportedly agreed a four-year contract with Celtic, yet some bonus elements of the transfer fee remain unsettled with Real Oviedo.

One report suggests Celtic and Real Oviedo have reached a full agreement, with Hassan also having agreed personal terms — though the Scottish champions need to act swiftly to finalise the bonus structure, as Liverpool and several other clubs are keeping a close eye on the winger.

Contradicting that, another source flatly denies any agreement between Celtic and Real Oviedo has been struck. Meanwhile, a further report indicates Celtic are set to submit a new bid of close to £4.7 million after their initial £3.4 million offer was rejected.

Moore loan exit possible, Dragojevic snubs European giants for Rangers

Elsewhere in Scotland, Tottenham Hotspur boss Roberto De Zerbi has hinted that 18-year-old winger Mikey Moore could be loaned out again this summer, following his stint at Rangers last season.

Rangers have also completed the signing of Serbia midfielder Vanja Dragojevic from Partizan. The player turned down approaches from Benfica, Eintracht Frankfurt, Anderlecht, Club Brugge, PAOK, and Copenhagen to make the move to Ibrox.
