Chelsea have reached an agreement to sign Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara in a deal worth £47 million, with the 22-year-old set to put pen to paper on a six-year contract, subject to a medical.

The move comes as Chelsea seek a midfield replacement for Enzo Fernandez, who is on course to join Manchester City in a £125 million transfer — a figure that would equal the joint-record for a British club.

Camara has spent two years at Monaco after arriving from Metz in 2024, establishing himself as one of the most sought-after midfielders in Ligue 1 during that time.
